Scup is a company with a huge goal: to help companies to work efficiently with social media.

We believe that the information in social media needs to be addressed, most often by people, to bring real relevance to the company. We realize we need to go beyond automatic reports and sentiment analysis to strategically impact the company. To this end, Scup brings some clear differences in relation to monitoring approach in social media:

  • Focus on operation: easy to operate the data resulting from searches on social media
  • Integration: the social media data must be integrated with other specialized system (CRM, customer service, BI)
  • Microcalibration: the monitoring settings should be microcalibrated on different networks, making maximum use of the knowledge of experts in social media to configure the tool
  • Generality: the system should be generic enough to provide the data and operation of social media for various purposes

Scup's Vision

In the last few years, the digital media changed abruptly the way people relate and communicate to each other. Consequently, there have been great changes in the way companies talk in those medias. We work every day because we believe that, in the future, companies that adapt to that new paradigm will be completely engaged in social media, through solid and transparent politics on how to relate to users and how to use that data. To achieve that goal, those companies will need a technological tool to support that process, from the monitoring to integration to CRM and BI systems. We, the Scup, want to be that tool.
